Intel Simple COMM Driver. If you upgrade to winXP or win2000 and your generic modem doesn't work, if bios recognizes the modem as "Simple.COMM" controller, then this is the driver you'll need.
File Contents: This is actually a driver for an intel chipset, and it took me a long time to find--performing all kinds of net searches. I finally figured out that the main comm chip was intel and I got these drivers. Hope they work for you! They work great for me!
