US Robotics 5699a/5699b Driver. This file will upgrade the firmware/model for a "US Robotics 56K Fax Win Int" PCI modem (5699a) to "US Robotics v.92 Fax Win Int" (5699b). It will then install the 5699b drivers. Reboot is required after firmware update and driver install. These drivers supercede v5.0.0.136 and other drivers listed elsewhere on this site. I've successfully installed and used these drivers on the Compaq OEM version of this card installed in a Compaq DescPro EN running Windows XP Home SP2.
