UMAX Astra 1200s (SCSI) and others Driver. Windows XP does not support the 16-bit SCSI controller that is supplied with the scanner. The solution is to get a PCI replacement for that card. Even then, it is not clear that the scanner will work with anything other than Microsoft Paint. According
