These files are supposed to be in your “C:\Windows\System32” sub-directory. If they are not there, then the compressed images are supposed to be in “C:\Windows\Driver Cache\sp2.cab” file. Point the installer to “C:\Windows\Driver Cache\” and the installer should extract them.
If you are missing the “C:\Windows\Driver Cache\sp2.cab” file, then try to get a copy from a friend and put it in “C:\Windows\Driver Cache\”
Failing that, enclosed is a ZIP file with the files. Extract the files into a subdirectory, then point the installer there.
When you are finished, you must update DirectX. Go to “DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer”, which was at “http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en” when I last tried it.
The command to check your work is: “DXDIAG”.
I think that is the lot.
